From the recording Disappearing Day
Lyrics
STRONGER

Today’s the day for celebration
Blow another candle out
Look at my reflection
And see how I turned out
There's a stranger in the mirror
Asking questions of the world
I’ve untravelled answers
From stories overheard
I don’t know if I’m stronger
I just keep getting older
The only thing that’s sure is yesterday
But nothing yet has stopped me
As soon as I see my way through
I’m gone
What leads a man to journey
Take a breath step into life
With courage strength and confidence
Deep within his eyes
In conflicting conversations
I try to understand
A phrase of mixed up sentences comes undeterred
I don’t know if I’m stronger
I just keep getting older
The only thing that’s sure is yesterday
But nothing yet has stopped me
As soon as I see my way through
I’m gone
Time’s an independent soldier
Who can lift you up or shoot you down.
HIDDEN TRACK
Silvia
Anthony Snape/ Matt Scullion
Silvia Silvia
Your too young to be bitter
Too pretty to be so scarred
Silvia Silvia
Something must have hurt you
Someone must have broke your heart
Silvia So far
I can reach you I don’t know where you are
Send up a flair into the stars
Silvia so far
Floating like a rocket dream space traveller
So close but so far Silvia
Silvia Silvia
Everyone misses you
Everybody sends their love
Silvia Silvia
I know your not tuning in
I pray that you’re not too far gone
So close but so far

HIDDEN TRACK NOTES...
SILVIA
"This space represents how lost and alone we are on this little blue planet of ours.
The song you find at the end of this journey is called SILVIA.
SILVIA is a backwards acronym meaning All In Vein Lost In Space.
This is what I think about sometimes, all of us floating out here in the vastness of space.
Left to our own devices and thoughts. Waiting, longing for meaning. Needing to be found.
All of this this for me sums up the Disappearing Day record and the meaning behind it.
All the emotions wrapped into one experience shared with the world as we spin unknowingly further into space." - Anthony Snape
