ANTHONY SNAPE

Anthony Snape is a renowned independent music artist and master vocalist, often compared to the likes of Ed Sheeran, Jason Mraz and Neil Finn. With a knack for storytelling, his performance style has captivated audiences worldwide with his raw acoustic performances, showcasing his emotional scope and physical range. 

With a strong track record in the music industry, Anthony has co-written songs for Tommy Emmanuel's Number 1 Billboard chart-topping album "Accomplice One" and has music featured on numerous popular TV shows and movies, including Saturday Night Live, Good Morning America and Dr. OZ Show. Anthony has worked with esteemed producers Lindsay Rimes and Matt Fell and has performed alongside Australian music icons such as Marcia Hines, Ian Moss and Rick Price. 

Anthony's talent saw an invitation to open for Tommy Emmanuel for his U.S. tour. This opportunity allowed him to perform in over 18 US states, reaching thousands of new fans. He has since toured extensively in Europe, the US and representing Australia at 2010 SXSW music festival in Texas. He is current tour with Tommy Emmanuel throughout Australia in May 2023. 

Anthony independently released his debut album, "Disappearing Day," garnering radio airplay across three continents. He has continued to build his audience globally, writing and releasing new music online and through live performances, including a long-running weekly live original music stream on major platforms, empowered by his dedicated fan base (the Snapestars), and a lifelong desire to create, Anthony has independently released his first 5 albums, and successfully crowdfunded his 6th album, "Wherever You Are," set for release in 2023. 

Anthony's exceptional songwriting skills have earned him prestigious awards, including the Australian Songwriter's Association Award, Songdoor International Grand Prize, 2UE Rising Star award and OzMusic Australian Independent Music Awards recognising his incredible ability to craft emotive, memorable and impactful songs. 

With a dedication to his craft that is evident not only in his music but also in his commitment to leveraging technology and innovative practices, Anthony has presented a TEDx Talk on house concerts, written a book and audiobook titled "The Ultimate Guide to ChatGPT," all while independently building a global audience.
